A little off the beaten track, but definitely worth a visit. Prices are a little higher than the average cafe in West Wirral, but the quantity and quality of the food restores parity. The food and drinks are excellent (the filter coffee was superb), service is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The indoor section looks out over open pasture and there's a well-sheltered outdoor patio area that is shielded from the prevailing westerly winds, plus a more open picnic-style area with wooden bench/tables on adjacent grassland. Highly recommended.

Can honestly say nicest presented brekki I've had in a long time. Good quality ingredients too. Bit on the expensive side as with black pudding 14.00 before you buy a drink. Service not too good although was busy. Asked for bill but in tye end had to go up and pay. Dog friendly too which was a bonus.

Visited on Saturday 31st May for a late breakfast. We were not disappointed. We both had the Full English and it came out piping hot. Nice touch were the cherry tomatoes, still on vine. Delicious, thank you.

We went on a Sunday afternoon so a bit quiet. The food was amazing and served hot. Attentive staff and friendly. Sean The barman stole the show with his fab cocktails (strong lol). Its a bit far out but the surroundings were beautiful. My friend called it a hidden gem which is very true!

Stopped in motorhome overnight, rang in advance but told just to show up. Really warm welcome, tried some of the small plates and have to say they were both generous and hugely tasty....chorizo and honey was beautiful. The benefits of staying on site in our motorhome meant we could enjoy the fabulous cocktails.....the godfather and the long island spiced tea were a lovely surprise and for lager drinkers the Mahoa was a tasty choice. Thanks to Sean for the cocktail guidance
